Ultimate Staffing is partnering with a manufacturing client in Downey. They are looking to hire a Fully Bilingual (Read, Write, Speak) HR Manager. This position is paying between $90,000-$140,000 a year based on experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide dedicated guidance and human resources support to managers with emphasis on acquisition and retention of employees, career training and development, and workplace investigations.
  • Collaborate closely with Senior Management and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of HR support across key functional areas including manufacturing, sales, administration and accounting. Identify gaps in HR processes and collaborate with various functions within the company to provide solutions.
  • Proactively address and resolve employee relations issues and conduct thorough investigations when necessary to promote a harmonious work environment.
  • Provide policy guidance and interpretation of HR policies to employees at all levels, ensuring fair and consistent application across all levels of the organization.
  • Coordinate, communicate, and deliver training sessions to all employees, including supervisors and managers on various HR-related topics to promote continuous learning and development.
  • Work with hiring managers and supervisors to create a positive onboarding experience for new hires.
  • Responsible for HR management, developing and implementing HR guidelines, managing employee HR training, and personnel management.
  • Ensure that all employee relations issues are properly identified, reported, investigated, followed up on and resolved.
  • Provide advice and counsel to managers and employees to ensure consistent application and integration of policies, performance management/discipline, procedures and practices at 100% compliance to promote an ethical and compliant work environment.
  • "Walk the floor" and be available for employee & manager needs.
  • Execute site-specific HR strategies and drive cultural initiatives and transformation across the site.
  • Lead key HR processes including Supervisor Training, Staffing Selection Processes and Onboarding, employee development, and safety development, etc.
  • Assist with other HR special projects or initiatives as needed.
  • Maintain and protect confidential data with utmost scrutiny, judgment, and care.
  • Understand and administer HR policies, procedures and programs in alignment with California and Federal employment laws.
  • Manage and administer CFRA/FMLA leaves of absence, including tracking, documentation, and employee communications.
  • Oversee and coordinate workers' compensation claims and ensure compliance with Cal/OSHA and state requirements.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for employees and management, providing guidance in both English and Spanish.
